Weather in Divonne-les-Bains, France on 20Dec09

There was snow since Friday/18Dec and Adam was super excited as it's his first time to see snow.
But since it was the last day of school, (2weeks Christmas holidays) he didn't have much time to play in them by the time school was over. Also the fact that it gets dark about half an hour after he finishes school :)
Next morning, he got up nice and early, and went out into the verandah to scoop up the leftover snow into a pail.
Then he shouted to me, "Mummy! Mummy! MUMMY!!!!!" as David & I were both still in bed (it's Saturday and only 8am but the kid has been up for an hour!)
"Yes? What is it Adam?"
"Where are my gloves?"

"??? Why are you looking for your gloves inside the apartment? You're not going outside."

"I am, Mummy, I'm scooping the snow out from our verandah and I'm cold as this other glove is getting wet!"

So I had to get up to find his gloves for him, which was exactly where he left it last, on the table, which as usual, he couldn't see or find.
He had a fun time just scooping up the snow and throwing them over the verandah.

Later in the morning, he wanted to go out and build a 'snowman'. No luck as not enough snow. Took him out to the Sunday open air market for a walk and get some snack so he knows how cold the weather is - he is all warmly dressed so he didn't feel the cold, I think he likes the cold weather here!

Tonight, Sunday, the snow is falling again, with very cold wind, going at 15km/hour! Our verandah is now about 3-4inches thick with snow again.
So I'm sure what the little fella would be doing tomorrow morning again too! Just need to make sure all his 'essentials' are all laid out for him so he sees them and put them on. Fingers crossed he know better to come in when he's cold and not get frost bite! :P
