Interview with Terri Irwin by Ray Martin of Nine Network, Australia / Steve Irwin Memorial Pictures
I cried when I watched Steve Irwin's memorial and I cried again when I watched his widow's interview. I feel for her as she is so genuine and they are so in love.

In an exclusive interview with the Nine Network, Terri Irwin breaks down as she sees the mounds of flowers and heartfelt tributes outside Australia Zoo for the first time which was shown on TV today.
Family picture..happier times
Bindi Irwin's tribute and farewell to her daddy during her Dad's memorial. Below are what she said.
"My daddy was my hero — he was always there for me when I needed him."
She traced the words on the paper with a finger.
'Most of all he was fun'
"He listened to me and taught me so many things but most of all he was fun," Bindi said.
"I know that Daddy had an important job. He was working to change the world so everyone would love wildlife like he did."
She said her father built a hospital and bought land to give animals a safe place to live and she wanted to continue his legacy.
"I don't want Daddy's passion to ever end," she said. "I want to help endangered wildlife just like he did."
Bindi said she would miss her father.
'Best Daddy in the world'
"I have the best Daddy in the whole world and I will miss him every day," she said.
"When I see a crocodile I will always think of him and I know that Daddy made this zoo so everyone could come and learn to love all the animals.
"Daddy made this place his whole life and now it's our turn to help Daddy."

The incident and Irwin's subsequent death became world news and generated a massive response. Up to 300 million people around the globe watched Irwin's memorial at Australia Zoo.

Viral infection ...Adam has been sick ...
Well..Adam came home from school, his usual chirpy self last Friday/15Sep and we bought fried rice from 'Auntie Wong's' restaurant with extra eggs because it's his favorite. The little independent boy ordered the fried rice himself and told 'Auntie Wong' he wanted more more MORE eggs!
Everything went ok, he had his fried rice but half hour after, he threw up! Didn't want anything after that and went to bed on an empty tummy. The next morning, we went to the weekend fresh market to buy some fresh veggies and before I know it, he wanted to go NOW ...and that was very strange as he can hold. It was like a tap was switched on full blast! Anyway, he didn't have very good appetite on Saturday as he was purging and vomiting and basically had nothing in his tummy. Spent the whole night up just watching him in case he had a fit again like in March this year. His temperature was hovering between 37 and 37.8 degrees Celsius but he again vomited around 1am when his phlegm kind of cough woke him up and irritated his throat.
So early next day, took him to hospital as most clinics was closed on Sunday. Had to wait more than 2hours before a doctor can see him. He was thirsty by then and told the doctor that he was thirsty and may he have a drink of water. BOY! Was the doctor surprised! Anyway, he was checked and I was basically told that there's a viral infection going around the city and alot of children are affected and I am to make sure he gets lots of fluids and basically that's it! No medicine to be prescribed and was told that this will pass! Doesn't give me a very reassuring feeling, that's for sure. So we came back and I tried to give Adam something to eat; cooked plain porridge for him and he took only 3 small spoonfuls and he told me he's full already. As I didn't want him to vomit anymore since when I told him to finish his meal the last time and he listened to me even though he told me he can't eat anymore and he threw up shortly after, I didn't pressure him, happy enough that he had SOMETHING in his tummy.
However, he again threw up at 5am when he woke up very thirsty and had a big drink of water! sigh...So hardly any sleep last 2days for worrying about him, that he would choke on his own vomit while he sleeps or his temperature goes up sudden like.
It's a good thing he was able to sleep till about 9am this morning. Gave him some porridge in the morning and he was really feeling very listless and tired as he slept again at 10am and only woke up around 2.30pm ......to vomit out his breakfast! Geee...really sad to see him not able to hold down his food.
He's asleep now and he has vomited another 3x in between. Said he was hungry just before he went to bed and hopefully this small meal stays in him the whole night!
This viral infection started last Friday but he has the cold and cough since 2nd September! Adam is taking his own sweet time to build up his body immunity against viruses, that is for sure!
He's taking this very well, considering the number of times that he has vomited. Had to buy a cream to put on his sore bum from all the purging that he has been doing all of Saturday but Sunday has been good so I guess he is on the mend.
He's lost abit over 1kg in these 3days! Took some pictures of him trying to show off his 'muscles' with his t-shirt off just now to his Papa Alfie and Mama Monica who came back from their Malaysia 2weeks holiday today. Will post them under 'my photos' another day. You can see his 'piano' bones of his ribcage! Poor little guy!

Steve Irwin 'Croc Hunter' is dead
David, my husband was so sad when he called me from PNG today as Steve was his friend. He heard it when he returned from his medical symposium on 7 News (Australia) as PNG can get that channel from there.
I can hear the sadness in his voice as he knows how great a guy Steve was and have been to their house and know his family as well. Steve's son is of the same age as Adam, our son.
He said now there's only 3 of them left..Mark O'Shea, him and Wolfgang who are doing similar things that Steve is doing.
Now he is worried that something might befallen him and will leave me and Adam in the same boat as Terri, Bindi and Bob.
News about Steve is here:

What a sad day today has been for me too....what with Adam not feeling too well with the start of spring..runny nose, cough and having his dinner coughed out of his little body due to the phlegm in his body, which the doctor do not recommend any antibiotics because it's better for his body to build up the immunity..
Life is short..and when you least expected it..could be taken from you at anytime.
